In an exciting move to boost Nepal’s tourism through innovative storytelling and collaboration, the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is organizing a unique event titled “Connecting Content Creators with Package Curators” on 29 April 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Aloft Kathmandu Thamel.
This exclusive event aims to bridge the gap between Nepal’s content creators and travel industry professionals including tour operators, trekking agencies, travel agents, tour guides, and package curators.
Nepal is observing the 19th Democracy Day on Thursday with various programs across the country, paying tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for democracy and democratic governance.
The day commemorates the historic event of April 24, 2006 (Baisakh 11, 2063 BS), when then-King Gyanendra Shah reinstated the dissolved House of Representatives and stepped down as the executive head of the nation, marking the defeat of autocracy.
Thousands of devotees gather every evening at 6 PM at the Pashupatinath Temple, considered Nepal's religious capital, to partake in the nightly Aarti. Situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, this ritual immerses devotees in a profound spiritual experience.
The evening Aarti commences with Shiva bhajans (devotional songs), the Shiva Tandava Stotram (a hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva), and the melodious sounds of the damru (a small two-headed drum), conch shells, and bells. The synchronized dance-like movements of the priests, the lighting of lamps, and the chanting of mantras create a celestial atmosphere.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is all set to make a vibrant presence at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, one of the leading international travel and tourism events in the Middle East. Scheduled to be held from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates, the event will provide a crucial platform for Nepal to highlight its rich and diverse tourism offerings to a global audience.
Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), emphasized the importance of utilizing the skills acquired abroad to create opportunities within Nepal. He expressed this view while addressing the Nepal Festival 2025 organized in collaboration between the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi and the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in Dubai.
The first-ever Nepal Pilot Summit 2025, a landmark event celebrating the aviation sector and the heroes of the skies, concluded yesterday with resounding success, enthusiasm, and pride. Organized by Yatra Magazine in collaboration with the Pilot Association of Nepal, the summit brought together aviators, aviation experts, airline companies, students, and stakeholders under one roof in a vibrant and insightful gathering.
