AIR INDIA LAUNCHES ITS NEW BRAND TRACK: INDIA TAKES FLIGHT


Air India, India’s premier global airline, has debuted its distinctive sonic identity, ‘India Takes Flight’, symbolizing the nation's boldness and vibrancy. Produced as a jugalbandi, it features Grammy-winning musician Shankar Mahadevan, percussionist Taufiq Qureshi, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, and London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Infused with the timeless Raga Yaman, it aims to captivate diverse audiences globally while warmly welcoming Indians home. Sunil Suresh, Head of Marketing at Air India, expressed pride in representing Indian spirit and unity through this musical journey. The airline plans to integrate this sonic brand across its services, including digital platforms, lounges, and inflight experiences. Recently, Air India collaborated with Bharatbala, Prasoon Joshi, and Shankar Mahadevan for an engaging Safety Video, reinforcing its new brand identity. Additionally, it has revamped its website, launched a mobile app, introduced new crew uniforms by Manish Malhotra, and received its first Airbus A350 aircraft.
