Bangladesh Airlines marked its 52nd anniversary with an exhibition of ground support equipment at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, organized by its Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Division. Chaired by CEO Shafiul Azim and attended by airport Managing Director Captain Mohammad Kamrul Islam, the event showcased 19 motorized and 7 non-motorized equipment types. Notable additions included 4 forklifts and 5 ramp coaches for aircraft handling, alongside new body cameras for security and radio telephones (RT) for ground staff. Matiur Rahman Choudhury, Director of Customer Service, emphasized the airline's expanded services to 30 passenger and 12 cargo airlines, with Azim highlighting plans for over 100 advanced ground support equipment additions.
