Jazeera Airways announces new Chief Executive Officer


Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s prominent low-cost carrier, announced today the departure of its current Chief Executive Officer, Rohit Ramachandran, following over seven years of successful leadership.


Barathan Pasupathi (Bara), formerly the CFO of Jazeera Airways, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective March 26, 2024. Bara brings over three decades of expertise in aviation, oil and gas, and supply chain management. His extensive background encompasses pivotal roles in finance, management, operations, aircraft procurement, and leasing within the aviation industry.

Marwan Boodai, Chairman of Jazeera Airways, praised Rohit's visionary leadership and significant contributions to the airline's growth, operational excellence, and shareholder value. Under Rohit's stewardship, Jazeera tripled its fleet, expanded to 65 destinations, achieved record passenger volumes, and developed the profitable Jazeera Terminal 5 through strategic partnerships and exceptional teamwork.
