WHAT IS TITLISs?

Titlis is one of the most famous tourist destination of Switzerland. A destination that is 91km away from Zurich is a beautiful natural attraction surrounded by mountains. Mount Titlis is the Swiss Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Bern.

HOW WE REACHED?

For me going to Titlis was only possible at the fifth time of visiting Europe. We drove all the way from Belgium to Switzerland and drove 1 and half hour from Zurich to reach Titlis.

WHY VISIT MOUNT TITLIS?

Titlis is one of the most famous tourist destination of Switzerland. A destination that is 91km away from Zurich is a beautiful natural attraction surrounded by mountains. The must visit reason of Titlis is for sure the beauty of the place, but another main highlights of the place is the Titlis Rotator.

WHAT IS AT THE TOP?

When we reach to the top of the peak the view is absolutely breath taking. It is not just a mountain with snow, exploring the titlis more we discovered multiple lakes around the peak and of course some restaurants for visitors. Well no surprising right? What will surprise you and surprised us was a dedicated restaurant for Indians. That is because many years back a famous movie of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was shot on the particular peak.

WHAT IS TITLIS ROTAIR?

The titilis rotair is actually a cable car that is round which also spins 360 degrees. It fits around 80 peoples inside.

THE STATION WE CHOOSE

With the number of mountains, gives rise to number of cable car companies. Out of all we chose TITLIS | BERGBAHNEN, HOTELS & GASTRONOMIE. When we take the entrance a huge poster of rotator welcomes us to the station. BERGBAHNEN have created a wonderful man made cave called Glacier Cave and mind you it is extremely cold inside as they have maintained the cold temperature.
